Facilities

IIT has moved to its permanent site. The total floor space is about 1500sq.m. This space houses the following:

• Administrative offices.
• Cloak/changing room.
• Counseling room.
• Board room.
• Automation Laboratory.
• Electronics laboratory.
• Electrical laboratory.
• Mechanical workshop.
• Welding workshop.
• ICT laboratory.
• Classrooms.
• Library.
• Two (2) Generators.

Each classroom/laboratory can sit 24 students at a time. Each of the laboratories/workshop has furniture/training equipment, which has been obtained through donations. These include:

• Pneumatics & Electro-pneumatics trainers.
• Variable Speed Drives trainers.
• Process control trainers.
• Hydraulics trainer.
• PLC trainers with computers.
• Mechatronics trainer -4 stations.
• Power electronics trainers.
• Digital electronics trainers.
• Electrical installation simulators.
• Complete Mechanical workshop equipment.
• Other training media including multimedia projector, overhead projectors, magnetic white boards, etc.
