Certifications

For the 3-year school leavers ' course, at the end of their first year of training, the trainees sit for the National Technical Certificate (NTC) of NABTEB examinations.  At the end of the three years, successful trainees are awarded the Institute 's certificate of proficiency in electromechanics and sit for the City and Guilds Diploma examination in a selected engineering field (currently applied electrical engineering-Electrical power)
For the workers ' program, successful trainees are awarded IIT 's certificate of training proficiency and they can sit for the City & Guilds Diploma examination and any other certification examination as private candidates.
